Me Made Giveaway

Posted by Jessica Povenmire on

This is it! We've made it through an entire month of handmade clothing! I don't know about you, but I am ready to be done with pictures of myself everyday. It was fun while it lasted, but let's be real-tomorrow is June and I'm pretty excited about it.

That being said, this May has been so inspirational. I've said it before and I'll say it again...I am constantly inspired by the online community and the amazing projects that people are making every single day. Which got me thinking, why do we only celebrate our handmade achievements one month out of the year? As a maker, I am always finishing one project while planning the next, and so often, I don't take the time to step back and recognize my achievements.

So maybe I'm crazy, but here goes nothing. What if we celebrate each others handmade accomplishments all year long? I want to be inspired by what you all are making all the time, not just in the month of May.

Which means, GIVEAWAY! In the comments below (or on Instagram), tell me about your handmade goal for the year. This doesn't have to be a pledge or a promise-no one is going to hold you accountable. But what do you want to work on? What do you want to do for your self this year?

Next weekend, on Sunday June 7, we'll pick a winner, who will get to choose any pattern in the shop for free! This includes Me-Made-May staples like the Morris Blazer, Moneta Dress, and Scout Tee! So start thinking about what me-made-all-year is going to mean to you.

My me-made-all-year goal? This year, I want to be more thoughtful of what I make and slowly transition my wardrobe into more me-made pieces.

Tell me what your goal is and you could win a free pattern to get you started on your way!!

Side note - you can comment below as a guest, without entering an e-mail. However, I do need an e-mail address to be able to reach the winner if you're commenting here on the blog instead of on Instagram.
