Lovetand - CaMaRose

Lovetand from CaMaRose is a beautiful, linen yarn for lightweight, warm-weather wear. Made from the stems of the flax flower, linen yarn is robust and durable, but tends to be somewhat stiff when knitted. It softens substantially as you wear it!

Lovetand is made from a chainette construction, meaning that the fibers are not spun together as you would see in a traditional wool yarn. Instead, the plies are actually knitted into a fine tube. This construction method is great for plant fibers (such as linen) that tend to be heavy and inelastic because it makes them more lightweight. It also adds some elasticity to the yarn, making it easier on your hands when working with it!
