Knitted Holiday Stocking - November 5 & 12
Tis the Season!
In this two-part class, we will discuss how to plan your Churchmouse Basic Christmas Stocking; options for placing a name on the the sock, discuss fabric/gauge, and use of color as colorblock or stripes. This class is perfect for a beginner knitter as well as those who want to get into the holiday spirit and join the group.
Must know how to knit and purl. Class is suited for adventurous beginners.
This class is held in person at our Bainbridge Island shop over two sessions on Wednesday, November 5 and Wednesday, November 12 from 11:00am - 1:00pm. It will be taught by our very own, Kathy Connelly!
Techniques we will cover in this class will be:
Working in the round, increasing and decreasing, working a heel and closing a toe
What you’ll need for the class:
- US 7 (4.5mm) circular knitting needles with a 32” cable for magic loop
- 200-250 yards of Worsted Weight Yarn (we recommend Le Gros Lambswool and Heavy Merino)
We will provide the printed pattern and a few notions. Needles and yarn should be purchased separately. If you'd like to purchase supplies from us, contact us for a 15% off discount, but you're welcome to bring your own supplies! This project works great for scraps.

If fewer than three spots are filled 72 hours before the class is scheduled to begin, the class will be canceled. A full refund will be issued and you will be notified.
If you need to cancel your registration for any reason, you must do so at least 72 hours prior to the start of the class in order to receive a full refund. We appreciate your understanding!
