Intro to Knitting - October 11 & 18
Learn to knit with us!
In this class we'll take you from the very beginning with the Stitch-Sampler Hand Warmers from Churchmouse Classroom. This is a perfect first project that teaches all the essential techniques while guiding you to create something classic and practical.
You'll learn all the basics of knitting: how to cast on, work knit and purl stitches, bind off, and seam your hand warmers.
This class is held in person at our Bainbridge Island shop over two sessions on Saturday, October 11 and Saturday, October 18 from 11:00am - 1:00pm.
What you'll need for the class:
- Approx. 110 yds/100m of worsted-weight yarn (we recommend Heavy Merino or Gilliatt in a light color so you can see your stitches)
- US 8 (5mm) needles (straight or circular)
The pattern and a few notions will be included. Yarn and needles should be purchased separately. If you'd like to purchase supplies from us, contact us for a 15% off discount, but you're welcome to bring your own supplies!
Cancellation Policies:
If fewer than three spots are filled 72 hours before the class is scheduled to begin, the class will be canceled. A full refund will be issued and you will be notified.
If you need to cancel your registration for any reason, you must do so at least 72 hours prior to the start of the class in order to receive a full refund. We appreciate your understanding!
