Felting Ornaments Class - November 14
This class is held in person at our Bainbridge Island shop on Saturday, November 14th from 2:00pm - 5:00pm. This class will be taught by Elizabeth Benes!
Elizabeth lives on a boat and wanted something to keep her hands busy in the quite coziness of boat life. She loves to make felt animals that she has the opportunity to see from her home: orca, harbor seals, owls, even humpback whales! She has some of these for sale at The Chandlery on Bainbridge Island.
If you have ever wanted to make handmade ornaments for the holidays this will be a great introduction to needle felting. She will be teaching flat felt Christmas ornaments, an owl and a seal. In the class Elizabeth will cover the basics of a flat piece or 3D, layering colors and adding attachments.
Items that will be provided for the class:
Basic felting kit including:- 24 colors of wool roving
- soft felt pads
- 16 pcs felting needles
2 wooden felting handles
- 3 keychains
- also included are any materials needed to complete the 3 - 4 designs being reviewed in the classCancellation Policies:
If fewer than three spots are filled 72 hours before the class is scheduled to begin, the class will be canceled. A full refund will be issued and you will be notified.
