Beginnings and Endings: Exploring Different Cast-Ons and Bind-Offs - November 22

This will be a one-session, 3-hour class. We will explore basic cast-ons, such as knitted cast on, cable cast on, e-loop or backward thumb, long tail (both knit and purl) and provisional cast on. Will learn several stretchy cast ons such as alternating long-tail, German twisted, Tillybuddy's Very Stretchy and Italian Tubular Cast on. We will discuss traditional bind off, sloped bind off, slip stitch crochet bind off, Icelandic bind off, i-cord bind off and sewn bind off and Italian bind off.
This class is held in person at our Bainbridge Island shop on Sunday, November 22nd from 1:00pm - 4:00pm. This class will be taught by our very own Kathy Connelly!
Materials Needed:
- Worsted or DK Weight Yarn
- Corresponding crochet hook and knitting needles to yarn weight
