Make this Classic Sweater!
The Amy Sweater by Petite Knit is a top-down sweater worked in the round using worsted weight yarn. This class is suitable for advanced beginners that are interested in taking the next step after my first sweater class. This 2-hour class will be held weekly over 6 weeks. Students are not expected to finish the sweater by the end of class but will receive all the skills necessary to complete the project on their own.
Students should know how to knit in the round. Great follow up class from "My First Sweater" class.
This class is held in person at our Bainbridge Island shop over six sessions on Wednesdays, September 30, October 7, 14, 21, 28, and November 4 from 11:00am - 1:00pm. Taught by Kathy Connelly!
What you'll learn:
- M1R, M1L,
- using DP needles,
- casting on stitches for under arm,
- picking up stitches for neck.
What you'll need for the class:
- Worsted Weight Yarn (We recommend Garamond or Heavy Merino)
- US 4 (3.5mm) circulars in 16" and 32"
- US 6 (4mm) circulars in 16", 24", and 32"
- DPNs in US 4 (3.5mm) and US 6 (4mm)
The pattern will be included. Yarn and needles should be purchased separately. If you'd like to purchase supplies from us, contact us for a 15% off discount, but you're welcome to bring your own supplies!
