Guillemet Hat Pattern

The Guillemet Hat from Fancy Tiger Crafts is a little bit slouchy, a little bit of chevron, and a whole lot of beautiful texture. Knit almost entirely in the round, this hat creates a beautiful, yet subtle, chevron pattern simply by using basic knit and purl stitches.

The Guillemet Hat pattern is written to adjust to any size head, using any type of yarn, as the ribbed band is knit to fit comfortably on your head, so their is no need to do gauge swatches unless you want to. This pattern is a great introduction to reading printed knitting patterns.

140-200 yards worsted weight yarn

Needles:
US 8 / 5 mm circular or dpns

Gauge:
17 stitches and 28 rows = 4 inches in pattern stitch
