Spinning has become such a popular fiber hobby in the last couple of years, but where do you start? What do you do with that beautiful braid of fiber you keep, like a trophy, on your shelf? Let's get you familiar with the basics of spinning and start you on your journey with learning how to spin on a drop spindle.
Join Jessica from Witchfire Fibers as she takes you through how to prepare your fiber for spinning, the mechanics of spinning, how to finish your yarn, and what you can create with it! Bring yourself, and a willingness to learn - we’ll provide the rest!
You’ll also have one on one time with Jessica to make sure you feel confident in your new skills and answer any questions you have.
The class fee covers all required materials, including a drop spindle and 2 oz. of Rambouillet fiber dyed by Witchfire Fibers.
This class is held in person at our Bainbridge Island shop on Saturday, April 12 from 10:00am - 12:00pm.
