Helix - La Bien Aimée

Helix is a non-superwash, lace-weight yarn that combines high-quality Falkland Merino with the unique Gotland wool fiber. Gotland wool is known for its wonderful luster and slight halo, making it somewhat reminiscent of mohair. This light-grey fiber mixed with the bright white merino gives the Helix yarn an incredible sheen and depth of color.

Helix is part of the "Lix" collection from La Bien Aimée, which includes Alix, Helix, and Felix. These three bases are the same weight, but are made up of different fiber contents - which makes them interchangeable in projects! These bases are made to be knit either double with itself, or with other lace weight yarns, resulting in a sport weight gauge.

Every effort has been made to depict the accurate color; however, colors may vary due to different monitors. All yarn is individually dyed and due to the nature of hand dyed yarns, skeins may vary. We recommend alternating skeins if working on a larger project.
