Fleece & Flax, a beautiful fingering weight blend of 75% Bluefaced Leicester wool and 25% linen. Linen is a strong and durable fiber with a lovely hand and body. It resists pilling, dries faster than cotton, and has a natural luster marked by irregular fiber bundles and texture. Additionally, linen provides excellent thermo-regulating properties, keeping you cool in hot weather and warm in cool weather. Please note that the higher linen content means you may experience some initial shedding during the knitting process however the drape and handle of this yarn after blocking is entirely worth it - it will get softer with every wash and wear!

Fleece & Flax is spun to the same specifications as Sunday Morning 4 Ply, making the two bases interchangeable in your fingering weight projects.

Spun and dyed in England.
