Colorwork 101: Frame Your Face Cowl - February 8 & 22
Want to learn how to knit stranded colorwork but unsure of where to start?
This class is held in person at our Bainbridge Island shop over two sessions on Sunday February 8th and Sunday February 22nd from 10:30am - 1:00pm.

- Work in the round
Techniques you'll learn:
- How to read and follow a colorwork charts with confidence
- How to knit using two colors at the same time (Both English and Continental techniques will be covered)
- Color dominance: What is it? And why it matters!
- Techniques for tensioning your colorwork
- Catching floats
- Mattress Stitch seaming
What you'll need for the class:
- 590 yards of Sport Weight yarn in 2 high contrasting colors (about 295 yards of each color) - We recommend De Rerum Natura Ulysse and La Bien Aimee Merino Sport
- US 4 / 3.5mm with 16" cable length
Worsted Weight Version
- 510 yards of Worsted Weight yarn in 2 high contrasting colors (about 280 yards of MC and 230 yards of CC) - We recommend Yin Yang Loop and Ampersand Garamond
- US 7 / 4.5mm with 16" cable length
