Intro to Crochet - May 25 & June 1

Are you ready to dive into the world of crochet, but not sure where to start? Look no further! Our Crochet 101 class is designed specifically for the absolute beginner, so whether you've never picked up a hook before or just need a refresher, we've got you covered.

In this class, you'll learn all the basics of crochet:

• How to hold your hook and yarn
• Chain Stitch, Slip Stitch, Double Crochet Stitch, Changing colors
• How to work in the round
• We'll guide you step-by-step through the process of crocheting a Granny Square and provide helpful tips along the way.

We'll provide inspiration and guidance for simple crochet projects you can make with your newfound skills. Get ready to feel confident and proud of your crochet abilities! Join us and discover the joy of crochet.

This class is held in person at our Bainbridge Island shop over two sessions on Saturday, May 25 and June 1 from 3:00pm - 5:00pm.

What you'll need for the class:

A smooth DK weight yarn - in light colors so you can see your stitches. 

4.5mm - G-7 Crochet Hook

Tapestry needle / Stitch Marker / Scissors

1 skein of yarn, hook and granny square pattern will be included with the class. Notions and any additional yarn should be purchased separately.
