Plants You Can't Kill: Crochet Lavender - March 30
Don't have a green thumb? Don't worry! In our "Plants You Can't Kill" class, you'll learn how to crochet your very own realistic lavender plant that will last forever!
In this 2 hour class you'll learn the techniques needed to create a beautiful, lifelike lavender bouquet from start to finish, complete with a textured, durable stem and delicate flowers. You'll also learn how to use a variety of crochet stitches to shape the leaves and flowers. We'll end the class by learning how to assemble your lavender into a beautiful and realistic bouquet that you can use to decorate your home or give as a gift, without the worry of keeping a real plant alive!
This class is held in person at our Bainbridge Island shop on Saturday, March 30 from 10:00am - 12:00pm. This class will be taught by our very own Nikki Reynolds!
What you should know before taking this class:
This class is perfect for anyone who already knows the basic crochet stitches (chain stitch, slip stitch and single crochet) and wants to take their skills to the next level.
What you'll need for the class:
Approx. 15g of fingering-weight yarn for the flowers and 25g for the leaves and stems. We recommend using scrap yarn or enjoy 15% off any yarn purchased through La Mercerie.
Class sample was crocheted in Knitting for Olive Merino in Artichoke Purple for the flowers and Dusty Sea Green for the stem and leaves.

One, 18 gauge stem wire will be provided per person.
The pattern will be printed and included in the class fee. Yarn, hook, hot glue gun and wire cutter should be purchased separately.
