Le Gros Lambswool
This is a pure lambswool from a family-owned fiber mill in Scotland. The wool is rustic and soft at the same time, in different shades, the thread is thin and sturdy, and the wool is fully scoured.
We will be adding a whole range of dyed colors in the coming time - but for now, we are starting with these 3 undyed colorways. It's slightly rougher to the touch than Le Petit Lambswool since it hasn't gone through the dying process, which makes it a wool lover's dream. Worsted weight, it's perfect for natural dying experiments and knitting projects with a natural look.
What is lambswool? It is actually the first shearing of a sheep, considered high-grade of wool. The difference between Le Petit Lambswool and Le Gros Lambswool? The thickness of the thread, and therefore also the length. Otherwise it is the same quality, spun for thicker sweaters and projects!
Every effort has been made to depict the accurate color; however, colors may vary due to different monitors.
