Bruyere Shirt Pattern
A feminine take on a traditional button-up, the Bruyere Shirt is cinches at the waist with a flattering, tunic-length hemline. Techniques such as a flat collar, gathered sleeve cuffs, and back yoke allow for added visual interest when playing with pattern direction. Version A has long sleeves, while Version B offers sleeveless option.
This pattern is bilingual (French/English).
Suggested Fabrics: Shirt weight fabrics ranging from cotton lawn, cotton satin, shirting, chambray, linen, and flannel. Extra fabric may be needed to match stripes or plaids.
Notions: ¾ yard of lightweight fusible interfacing, Version A: 12 ⅝’’ buttons, Version B: 10 ⅝’’ buttons and 2 yards bias tape.
