Le Gros Lambswool
This is a pure lambswool from a family-owned fiber mill in Scotland. The wool is rustic and soft at the same time, in different shades, the thread is thin and sturdy, and the wool is fully scoured.
The three natural colorways are undyed. They are slightly rougher to the touch than the more colorful options, since they haven't gone through the dying process. Dyed or undyed, this yarn is a wool-lover's dream! This yarn varies from a heavy worsted to a light aran depending on your tension, so we definitely recommend swatching before starting your project.
What is lambswool? It is actually the first shearing of a sheep, considered high-grade of wool. The difference between Le Petit Lambswool and Le Gros Lambswool? The thickness of the thread, and therefore also the length. Otherwise it is the same quality, spun for thicker sweaters and projects!
Every effort has been made to depict the accurate color; however, colors may vary due to different monitors.
